The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced
cybersecurity measures to protect our clients’ digital assets, with a particular focus on securing Microsoft
365 environments. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles,
technologies, and practices, as well as the ability to lead and execute security strategies tailored to client
needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, deep expertise in Microsoft 365
security, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other IT
professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and solutions for clients.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability management, and risk analysis across client IT
infrastructures.
• Implement and manage security configurations and policies within Microsoft 365 environments to
safeguard client data and ensure compliance with security best practices.
• Monitor security events and respond to incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution to
minimize impact on client systems.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and documentation for clients, ensuring
alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed about the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies related to
Microsoft 365 to continuously improve client security postures.
• Lead and participate in incident response efforts, coordinating with internal and external
stakeholders as necessary.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior cybersecurity engineers and other IT staff.
• Manage and resolve cybersecurity-related requests and incidents through a ticketing system,
ensuring timely and effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist clients in audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and
others.
• Demonstrate a strong drive to achieve advanced cybersecurity certifications to further develop
expertise and career growth.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field,
or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with extensive knowledge of security
technologies and practices.
• Strong experience with cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Proficiency with cybersecurity tools such as firewalls, SIEMs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
platforms.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 security features, including MDE, MDO, DLP, Conditional
Access, and other related tools.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with ticketing systems to manage, track, and resolve security incidents and
service requests.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, CISSP, CISM, or
equivalent are highly preferred.
• Experience with security incident and event management (SIEM) systems and incident response
processes.
• Ability to participate in and lead on-call rotations for after-hours security support for clients
