Position Summary: The Project Leader will oversee the coordination, reporting, and stability of project-focused initiatives. They will establish and execute project management processes and methodologies within the IT community to ensure projects are completed punctually, within budget, maintain high-quality standards, and fulfill customer expectations.
- Lead the compilation of project plans and team assignments, supervise daily work efforts, identify resource requirements, conduct quality reviews, and appropriately escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues.
- Monitor key project milestones and adjust project plans or resources as needed to meet customer demands.
- Coordinate communication across all enterprise sectors affecting the scope, budget, risk, and resources of managed work efforts.
- Support Project Managers and/or Program Managers in recognizing and prioritizing IT opportunities to align with enterprise goals.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and proficiency in project management methodologies, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
- This role is an individual contributor position without human resource management duties such as hiring or performance management.
- Manage one or more medium to high complexity projects.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in project management.
- Proficiency in assembling project schedules and implementation plans.
- Strong familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
- Proficiency in various Project Management Methodologies.
- PMP Certification is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
