Consultis has an immediate need for an experienced Program Manager with Logistics background. The PM will lead a team of 9 members in support of all travel and logistics coordination and support for both CONUS and OCONUS travel.

This role is based in our Arlington VA office and is a hybrid role. 2-3 days a week will be remote.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Will focus on customer relations, organizational communication, business processes and employee development. The Program Manager is expected to be familiar with contract, country specific and customer requirements.
  • Will hire, direct, and train the contract logistics specialists’ activities to make sure that work performance is accurate, complete and customer tasking delivery commitments are met.
  • Is adept at handling multiple priorities in the global environment and demonstrates a high level of cultural awareness in dealing with customers, business partners and vendors.
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong level of problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities in global logistics and customer service requirements.
  • Can build strong client relationships and liaison effectively with key government partners, stakeholders, and customers.
  • As a Senior member of management, is responsible for review of tasking requests, pricing, expenses, and invoices for correctness. 
  • Ensures accurate inquiry and tasks tracking from initial contact and taskings through all subsequent follow up communications, and pro-active participation in systematic follow-up routines with all contract taskings. 
  • Can demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail along with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 15 years of relevant work experience
  • 5 Years PM experience in a logistics role
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Hold a working knowledge of international programs, U.S. Government procurement regulations, and foreign languages
  • Passionate about exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to establish trust and build relationships with business partners, management, customers, and team.
  • Exceptional Communication and Microsoft Office Skills.
