Responsibilities
- Responsible for the maintenance, installation, upgrade, configuration, and
- reliable operation of network hardware and software in a diverse set of
- Troubleshooting network hardware and software issues, documenting the
- problems discovered and their resolutions in our ticketing system, assessing the
- impact of the issues identified and effectively prioritizing assigned service
- tickets to meet SLA/Customer expectations.
- Develops and documents technical processes and procedures as needed.
- Performs backup operations to include routine and disaster recovery-based
- Responsible for time management and effectively documenting daily activity
- in our ticketing system to meet company expectations.
- Interacts with customers in support of both routine and reactionary
- service-based issues.
Skills/Qualifications Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
- customer service.
- Ability to work afterhours to meet customer requirements and participate in
- on call duties when scheduled.
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure
- devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and
- wireless controllers.
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using
- documentation and internet resources.
- Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for the design
- and implementation of network systems.
- Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
- Current IT certifications such as Network+, CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, or other field
- related certifications are a plus.
- Possesses advanced level troubleshooting skills
