Consultis, a premier Technical Solutions Provider and IT and Professional Staffing Firm with the single focus of pairing the right candidate with the right employment opportunity is currently searching for an Mechanical Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity (FTE) with our construction company client in San Antonio, TX DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop mechanical and plumbing systems, performing load calculations.
- Handle construction administration tasks, including reviewing submittals and attending meetings.
- Conduct site visits for installations and observations.
- Support Marketing/BD efforts.
- Perform other assigned duties. Experience & Requirements:
- 4+ years of recent experience in Mechanical Engineering design with an architectural or MEP firm
- LEED accreditation is highly desired
- WELL accreditation is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Advanced in planning and organization skills with the ability to lead multiple-discipline project teams
- Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD, and Revit
- Proficient in Bluebeam
- Proficient in MS Office Suite to include, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Proven track record completing projects, and meeting deadlines and within budget
- Detail oriented
- Team focused and client focused.
- Excellent time management, communication and critical thinking skills
- Current Drivers License and insurable driving record
- Current PE Certification
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
