Consultis, a premier Technical Solutions Provider and IT and Professional Staffing Firm with the single focus of pairing the right candidate with the right employment opportunity is currently searching for an Electrical Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity (FTE) with our construction company client in San Antonio, TX Responsibilities:
- Designing branch circuit distribution systems for power and lighting in commercial buildings.
- Designing overall power distribution systems and performing calculations to support designs.
- Carrying out Construction Administration (CA) tasks, reviewing submittals/shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and attending CA meetings.
- Conducting site visits to assess field installations and observations.
- Managing assigned projects, coordinating design teams from start to finish, planning, scheduling, and ensuring quality standards.
- Leading design and construction meetings, and performing other assigned duties. Qualifications and Competencies:
- Demonstrated ability to complete projects, with strong project planning and delivery skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, along with effective verbal and written communication.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and client-focused, able to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Technology/Computer Experience:
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Proficient in Bluebeam and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience:
- 7+ years of recent experience in Electrical Engineering design with an architectural or MEP firm.
- LEED accreditation preferred.
- Skilled in project management, including managing work within schedule and budget constraints.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a history of maintaining successful client relationships.
- Effective planning and organizational abilities. Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- Current PE certification.
- Able to pass background and drug tests.
