The Director of Information Technology is responsible for providing guidance to the ITAM, Applications and Service Desk team.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of IT professionals, encouraging collaboration and promoting high- performance standards.
- Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, leadership, and external vendors.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure service levels meet or exceed expectations.
- Evaluate new technology solutions and partnerships to enhance the company’s IT capabilities.
- Effectively manage multiple projects, initiatives, and tasks while prioritizing based on business needs and objectives, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Optimize the IT Asset Management (ITAM) program while overseeing software compliance.
- Lead the IT Service Desk organization in providing best-in-class customer support.
- Oversee application management and support for all the company’s assets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT leadership roles with a track record of exceptional leadership and relationship- building skills.
- Strong experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Project management skills and experience overseeing IT projects.
- Ability to travel to other offices throughout the state, as needed.
- Certifications such as Agile/SCRUM, ITIL, and PMP.
