Job Title: Collections Specialist

Location: Onsite, Boynton Beach, FL

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Collections Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Your primary responsibilities will include handling both inbound and outbound calls, addressing customer inquiries, and effectively resolving billing and collections issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inbound and Outbound Calls: Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to address customer inquiries, negotiate payment arrangements, and provide exceptional customer service.
  2. Collections Management: Utilize effective collections strategies to recover outstanding balances, minimize delinquencies, and meet monthly collection targets.
  3. Accounts Receivable: Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable, identifying and addressing discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
  4. Billing Support: Work closely with the billing department to resolve invoicing discrepancies, clarify billing details, and facilitate the prompt resolution of customer concerns.
  5. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through clear communication, responsiveness, and professional conduct.
  6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, payment arrangements, and collection efforts. Generate regular reports to assess and communicate the status of collections activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Collections Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of collections, accounts receivable, and billing processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle challenging conversations professionally.
  • Proficient in using collections software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
