Consultis, a premier Technical Solutions Provider and IT Staffing Firm with the single focus of pairing the right candidate with the right employment opportunity is currently searching for an Agency Support Manager (hybrid) for a Direct Hire opportunity (FTE) with our client.

Position Overview:

The Agency Support Manager will work closely with the Director of Agency Support, as well as Agency Advocate Team members, on tasks and special projects as needed, utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with agents and internal departments.  


  • Responsible for maintaining operations and delivering the highest quality of business‐to‐ business service to our appointed and prospective agency partners
  • Communicate company guidelines and policies effectively to agents via multiple channels, including phone calls, virtual meetings, and emails
  • Handle escalated agent and customer issues, working with internal departments directly
  • Manage and maintain agency information, including (but not limited to):
    • Agency administration, such as changes to address, phone number, contact details, etc.
    • Monthly agent license appointments with the FLDFS, including contacting agents where necessary, creating + maintaining spreadsheet, and processing any renewals, terminations, and new appointments directly within the state site  
    • Agency book of business purchases & transfers, including gathering additional information and documentation from the agencies, reviewing paperwork, and setting up new code(s) in our management systems
  • Manage the appointment process for prospective agents by fielding the intake call or email; explaining our appointment process, expectations, and underwriting guidelines; providing paperwork; setting the agency up in our systems; reviewing paperwork submitted, etc.
  • Assist with coordinating agency visits and events, i.e. trade shows, conferences, or meetings
  • Identify system efficiency and data cleanup opportunities, effectively utilizing the Salesforce Dataloader tool where applicable
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and quality assurance testing on multiple systems, working directly with developers and attending meetings as needed Provide design and content input for agency marketing outreach (i.e. monthly agent newsletter)
  • Audit internal team processes, phone calls, and emails to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards
  • Create, implement, and maintain department Standard Operating Procedure documentation
  • Act as additional assistance in Agency Support Team inboxes and phone queues as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • MUST be able to:
    • Display strong interpersonal and Customer Service skills, both written and verbal o Work effectively with minimum supervision
    • Interact with people of all types and personalities
    • Effectively multitask by prioritizing and assisting with a wide range of duties  

Required Qualification or Skills:

  • 4-40, 20-44, or 2-20 licensed
  • Previous Property & Casualty industry experience, ideally prior agency experience with homeowners and/or flood insurance
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time and prioritize, while maintaining attention to detail, efficiency, and high customer service standards
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Availability to work extended hours if necessary
