Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Account Executive with a proven track record in selling IT managed services. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by cultivating and expanding relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within the IT managed services sector.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients through regular communication and account reviews.
- Understand clients’ business objectives and IT needs to position our managed services as strategic solutions.
New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market, leveraging industry knowledge and networking skills.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with technical and solution teams to understand the full range of IT managed services offered and effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.
- Tailor solutions to meet the unique needs and challenges of clients, providing comprehensive and consultative sales presentations.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure, ensuring accurate and timely forecasting of sales opportunities.
- Utilize CRM tools to track and report on sales activities and maintain an organized and efficient pipeline.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies within the IT managed services space.
- Provide feedback to the leadership team regarding market conditions and customer needs.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in IT managed services, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Previous experience in a senior or strategic sales role is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and related technologies.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present solutions and negotiate contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust and value.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with technical and support teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
